About the Role:
Aspire People are working with a welcoming and dynamic primary school in Shrewsbury to recruit a Year 3 Teacher for a full-time, permanent position starting September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture children at a key stage of their learning, helping them build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will lead a lively and engaging classroom, delivering high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge pupils. You will be part of a supportive staff team committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
Monitor pupils' progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (ETCS welcome)
Passionate about teaching and inspiring children in Year 3
Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and Key Stage 2 pedagogy
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Collaborative, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
