Year 4 Primary Teacher Sector: Primary Location: Scunthorpe (DN17) Contract Type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Start Date: May 2026 Salary: £130 – £160 per day Provide Education are looking for a reliable and engaging Year 4 Teacher to support primary schools across the Scunthorpe area from May 2026. This is a great chance to step into a well-established key stage and make a real difference as pupils continue to build on their core skills and confidence. Whether you’ve got plenty of classroom experience or you’re recently qualified, we’re keen to hear from teachers who can hit the ground running and create a positive learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Deliver well-planned, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum. • Mark work and assess pupil progress where required. • Create a calm, focused classroom where pupils feel supported and ready to learn. • Work alongside teaching assistants and staff to keep lessons running smoothly. • Manage behaviour effectively and follow each school’s policies. • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff in new school settings. Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4. • Confident classroom management and a consistent approach. • A flexible attitude and willingness to adapt to different schools. • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to get one).
