The Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our 'Good' and 'Outstanding' CQC-rated teams in Lowestoft. You will support adults with learning disabilities and autism within supported living environments, helping them achieve their personal goals and lead the life they choose.
The Role
No two days are the same. You will provide tailored, person-centered care that includes:
Community & Social Life: Assisting customers in accessing social events, hobbies, and community activities. Daily Living: Supporting with meal planning, cooking, shopping, and household tasks. Well-being: Helping customers get ready for the day and managing their health, which includes providing personal care. Specialised Care: Managing medication, manual handling, and assisted feeding (PEG feeding) where required (full training provided).
Shift Patterns Contracts are scheduled over 7 days. The ability to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekend days, is essential. Optional Earnings: Non-contractual sleeping nights are available at £60 per night.
About You
While we provide comprehensive training, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:
Experience: Previous experience in care settings, mental health, or working with individuals with challenging behaviours is highly valued. Qualifications: An NVQ, Care Certificate, or other healthcare qualifications are desirable but not essential. Mobility: Being a driver is a plus, though not a requirement. Values: A patient, resilient, and empathetic nature is a must.
