Job Description Payroll Assistant /n Elite US law firm with ultra-modern offices in the City is seeking an ambitious and proactive Payroll Assistant. In this role, you’ll assist in managing end-to-end payroll and processing, working closely with internal teams across Finance and HR, ensuring payrolls are accurate, compliant and timely each month. /n What’s On Offer: /n /n - Competitive salary + tremendous employee benefits /n - Free on-site meals and coffee shop /n - Hybrid working (4 days office / 1 day remote) /n - Liverpool St / City of London /n /n Working with and reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will assist in managing end‑to‑end payroll processing for 1000+ UK staff using ADP, SDWorx, work closely with internal teams across Finance & HR and maintain strong relationships with third‑party providers including Pension administrators. /n Payroll Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing: /n /n - Support with all UK payroll and other EMEA offices /n - Enter new starter details, process leavers, and input payroll variables to meet payroll deadlines /n - Flag any discrepancies or missing information and process P45s /n - Provide P11D and PSA preparation support /n - Work closely with HR and Finance colleagues on payroll submissions and approvals /n - Maintain a strong working knowledge of current UK payroll legislation /n - Prepare and upload pension data in compliance with the pension’s regulator /n - Upload monthly client invoices for payment /n - Work closely with the US team in processing shadow payrolls /n /n Payroll Assistant – What We’re Looking For: /n /n - 2-3 years’ payroll experience in a similar role /n - Payroll qualification / CIPP Membership, or working towards, preferred /n - Understanding of UK Legislation & Benefits rules /n - P11D and PSA knowledge desirable /n - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) /n - Experience using IHCM-ADP, COUPA, SDWorkx desirable /n
