Production Operative | 4-Day Work Week Are you an experienced Production Operative looking for a new challenge? We are currently hiring for temporary, ongoing roles at Caterpillar's facility in Larne. Responsibilities Assemble sub-assemblies, options, and other components of generator sets. Work from technical prints and standard work instructions to produce high-quality generator components and large assemblies. Rotate across various areas of the business, including the machine shop, paintline, nutsert, and assembly stations. Ensure full compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, and the 5S programme. Contribute to business improvement initiatives and display conduct aligned with our Values in Action. Support the team by training other employees as required and performing other appropriate duties.Required Qualifications: The ability to use hand tools, power tools, and to be able to read and interpret drawings. Ability to work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shift patterns Good communication skills, experience working in a team environment Previous electrical/mechanical experience. Desired Qualifications: Previous experience working in a lean environment. Experience working to takt times. Night Shift - £19.03/hr. Overtime - £21.41/hr (First ten hours) Overtime - £28.54/hr. (After ten hours overtime) 37.5 hours per week.
