Our commitment to the success of our customers sets us apart in the industry.What will you doAs a Senior DCS Engineer, you will deliver advanced expertise across the full lifecycle of BWSC’s energy plants supporting the plants in operational matters, lifecycle overviews, change management procedures, supplier and SLA management as well as Cybersecurity and Compliance questionsYour core duties will include:Operational SupportPerform DCS and PLC health checksSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysisParticipate in planned outages and maintenance activitiesProvide emergency call-out support when requiredLifecycle & Change ManagementSupport obsolescence and lifecycle management initiativesParticipate in Change Management and Change Advisory Board (CAB) processesCoordinate system upgrades, patching, and backup/restore activitiesMaintain technical documentation and asset inventoriesSupplier & SLA ManagementAct as technical focal point towards OEMs and service providersFollow up on SLA performance and service contractsCoordinate vendor interventions and support activitiesEnsure timely resolution of technical issues with suppliersCybersecurity & ComplianceParticipate in OT risk assessmentsSupport vulnerability management and patching activitiesAssist in incident response and recovery activitiesPromote compliance with company standards and applicable regulationsWhat do you bring to the fieldPreferably, you hold an Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plant Engineering or a related field with an understanding of DCS, SCADA and OT environments. Experience from power plants, utilities, process industry, marine, or offshore environments is highly relevant.In addition, you hold:Strong analytical mindset with ability to simplify and communicate complex electrical issuesProactive problem solver who takes ownership of technical challenges and delivers practical solutionsTeam player with a collaborative mindsetAdaptable and willing to continuously learn new technologiesStructured and documentation-orientedAble to work independently across multiple sitesWillingness to travel to operating sites within the UK and occasionally internationallyWhat do we offer?We offer a key position with great colleagues and the possibility to bring your skills into play and growth on a personal level.
