We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers with previous experience supporting children or young people who are committed to promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care while helping children develop confidence, life skills and positive relationships. There are also opportunities to significantly increase your earnings through regular sleep-in shifts paid at £83 per night. Key Responsibilities * Provide high-quality support to children and young people within a residential setting * Create a safe, structured and caring home environment * Support children before and after school, including meal times and daily routines * Participate in care planning, behaviour management and risk assessments * Accompany children on recreational activities and community outings * Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals * Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents and safeguarding concerns * Act as a positive role model while promoting independence and personal development * Attend training and contribute to maintaining high standards of care Requirements * Previous experience supporting children or young people within a care or support environment is essential * Previous experience as a Support Worker, Residential Support Worker, Child Support Worker or similar role * Caring, patient and resilient with excellent communication skills * Flexible to work early, late and day shifts, with opportunities to complete sleep-ins * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location * NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential * Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.
