Sen Teaching Assistant

A specialist SEN school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils within its Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). This role involves working closely with pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping to promote positive behaviour. Role Overview * Position: SEN Teaching Assistant * Location: Tower Hamlets * Type: Full-time, long-term * Salary: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) * Eligibility: Open to graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants About the School * PRU setting supporting pupils with various behavioural needs * Structured and supportive learning environment * Focus on communication, independence, and social development What We’re Looking For * Minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children * Strong background in behavioural support * A valid Enhanced DBS (Child and Adult workforce preferable) About UCM Education UCM Education specialises in placing teachers and support staff in schools and nurseries across the UK.
