Trained Clinical Coder - Band 4

CLINICAL CODER - Belfast This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Healthcare Trust where you will be working Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week (part time may be considered). The role is ongoing and there could be scope for a permanent opportunity for the right person. ***Please note we do not offer Sponsorships for this role or any other*** A bit about the role: The Clinical Coding Department is responsible for the collection of data on diagnosis and procedures for all the inpatient activity. The candidate will be educated to GCSE level or above, will have good background knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. The job requires an enthusiastic, adaptable person with a methodical approach and high attention to detail. You will be responsible for abstracting and analysing complex clinical information from patients records and translate this into a coded format in line with National Standards.
