Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Drivers needed – Abingdon / assessments mid-May   Rapier Employment are on the lookout for Class 1 drivers for our well-established client in Abingdon.   Assessments being held mid-May. They operate 24/7, so work available weekdays and weekends.   ** You will have held your licence (C+E) for 6 months to be accepted for this role **   Pay: £17.35 to £19.00 per hour (overtime after 45 hours) Role: Class 1 Driver Hours: Late AM to early PM shifts available   Job role: Work anywhere between 4 to 6 shifts a week (some weekend availability needed) Trunking transporting goods to stores across different locations Runs can vary from 1-2 depending on runs/collections (9 hours guaranteed minimum per shift) Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks Maintain accurate records of delivery details, including mileage, and fuel consumption Some hands on will be required for cage deliveries  Please hit apply or reach out to the Rapier Didcot branch if interested.
