• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 17:15pm

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite only
• Rate £24 - £32 per hour (Dependent on experience)

Job Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 pharmacist to join the friendly and supportive pharmacy team at this NHS Trust, delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care across the inpatient and outpatient dispensary services

This role is ideal for newly qualified or early-career pharmacists who are ready to build solid clinical and operational experience in a busy hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing clinical screening of prescriptions to ensure safe, appropriate, and effective us of medicines
• Carrying out final accuracy checks (If ACT Trained) to support timely and safe supply of medications
• Providing tailored patient counselling to promote understanding, adherence, and safe us of prescribed treatments
• Working collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and assistants to maintain high standards of dispensing and supply
• Supporting the delivery of a patient-centred service in line with hospital policies and national guidelines

Essential Requirements:

• GPHC Registration
• Eager to develop their clinical knowledge and professional skills across a variety of settings
• Confident in communicating with patients and healthcare professionals alike
• Committed to providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care
• Ability to work efficiently in as fast-paced environment
