About the role

About Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this day-shift position plays a key role in providing engineering support to our production team, ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently and the repair of all plant equipment. Company Vehicle ~4 on, 3 off (Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday, 4 x 10-hour shifts) ~ Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Maintenance Engineer - Requirements A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical and electrical engineering. Time-served qualification and minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role. Strong working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems. Experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems. Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks in line with maintenance systems. Investigate and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, conducting root cause analyses. Provide technical support for production and quality processes. Maintain accurate shift records and documentation. Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and standards.
