A leading contractor specialising in the supply and installation of drylining, partitions, ceilings, and joinery is seeking an experienced Projects Director to join its senior leadership team. With a strong presence across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments throughout the UK, the company continues to grow and deliver high-quality interior fit-out projects nationwide.
The Projects Director will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects, overseeing operational teams and ensuring performance, quality, safety, and profitability targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage multiple project teams across various UK sites
* Oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Drive commercial performance in collaboration with the commercial team
* Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact for major accounts
* Provide strategic input into programme planning, resourcing, and risk management
* Monitor health & safety compliance across all projects
* Support business growth through identifying opportunities and contributing to tenders
Requirements
* Proven experience in a senior operational role (Projects Director / Contracts Director / Senior Contracts Manager) within drylining or interiors
* Strong technical knowledge of drylining systems, partitions, ceilings, and joinery
* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, multi-site projects
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts
* Ability to build and maintain client relationships at a senior level
* Results-driven with a focus on delivery and performance
* Willingness to travel to sites across the UK
