Production Manager – Food Manufacturing
Hours: Monday to Friday, days

Are you an experienced food production leader ready to take the next step into a Production Manager role?

We’re working with a growing food manufacturer producing a range of products, mainly within the frozen sector. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong production leadership experience who’s ready to broaden their responsibility and help shape the next stage of the business’s growth.

You’ll oversee day-to-day production, making sure operations run safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to keep production on plan, support your team and identify practical ways to improve performance.

The role

Lead and develop production teams, setting clear expectations and supporting good performance.

Coordinate daily production activity to meet output, quality and delivery requirements.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and housekeeping.

*

Monitor production performance, addressing issues and helping reduce waste and downtime.

*

Work with colleagues across quality, planning, engineering and other teams to resolve operational challenges.

*

Identify and deliver improvements to processes, efficiency and consistency.

*

Support a positive, accountable and collaborative culture across the production operation.

About you

You’ll have experience leading people in a food manufacturing or production environment, with a good understanding of food safety and production standards. Experience in frozen food would be a real advantage.

You may already be working as a Production Supervisor, Shift Manager or Assistant Production Manager and be ready to step up. We’re also keen to hear from current Production Managers who want to join a growing business and make a meaningful contribution.

You’ll bring a hands-on approach, sound judgement and the confidence to engage with teams at all levels. Most of all, you’ll be motivated to improve how production operates and help people do their best work.
