Full Stack Senior Developer – Norwich Salary: £50-60,000 + benefits Location: Hybrid - 4 days onsite The Opportunity Mploy Group is partnering with a globally established technology business building advanced, data-driven platforms used in complex, large-scale environments. The Role A Senior / Lead Developer position combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You’ll design and build scalable applications, influence architecture, and mentor engineers, working closely with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust solutions. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications * Define and promote best practices across architecture and coding standards * Build end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems * Develop modern web applications using React / Next.js * Build backend services using Node.js and/or .NET (C#) * Design and implement APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) * Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) * Ensure strong test coverage through unit and integration testing * Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and proof-of-concepts * Mentor and support engineers across the team Technical Environment * React, Next.js * Node.js, .NET (C#) * JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript * SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB * RESTful APIs, GraphQL * Jest or similar testing frameworks * AWS / Azure, CI/CD pipelines What We’re Looking For * Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Developer * Proven ability to build scalable, data-driven applications * Experience across frontend and backend technologies * Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern architectures * Experience mentoring or leading engineers What You’ll Get * Competitive salary and benefits * Flexible / hybrid working * Ongoing training and development * Clear progression into Lead / Principal / Architecture roles The Bigger Picture Join a business investing heavily in technology, where you’ll have real influence over platform direction and a clear path into senior technical leadership.
