Req ID 88255 | Darlaston, United Kingdom, ZF Lemforder UK LimitedAbout the TeamYou will join the Quality Management team, a collaborative group of 13 colleagues with strong product and process expertise, supporting high quality new product introductions. The team works closely with cross-functional partners including Quality, Engineering, Projects, R&D, Materials & Logistics, Human Resources, the Head of Plant, Purchasing, IT, and HS&E, while also maintaining regular interaction with customer and supplier representatives. The current portfolio includes control arms for key customers such as JLR and BMW. Day-to-day activities involve close alignment with the Head of Quality, including daily reviews of project status to identify and address potential roadblocks, as well as responsibilities in internal audits and documentation control.The purpose of this position is to drive Quality Processes implementation, maintenance, effectiveness, and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with ISO, IATF, VDA standards and customer-specific requirements (CSRs), as well as strengthening risk control and mitigation across all relevant operations.What you can look forward to as Quality Engineer - QMS: Lead the Management Review process according to ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standardDrive compliance with quality management systems standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.) and customer specific requirements and lead compliance with customer quality certifications (e.g.: JLR MSA, Ford MSA, BMW Requalification of product and processes, etc.)Lead 3rd Party Certification of quality management system standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, etc.)Driving business processes identification, standardization and optimization.
