Specialist Occupational Therapist- Community Services

Occupational Therapist Location: Manchester Contract: 12-month locum Hours: 2-3 days per week Salary: £25-35/hr We’re seeking a passionate and committed Occupational Therapist to join a supportive environment for a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to: Provide occupational therapy services within schools in your region. Collaborate with school communities to support high-quality provision for students. Deliver training and implement interventions to help young people in their daily lives. Offer environmental advice to enable students to access their education effectively. About You ~ HCPC registered ~2-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. ~ Previous experience working in a school environment. ~ Knowledge of the occupational therapy process, with an understanding of a range of assessments and interventions, including sensory processing and SEMH. ~ Previous management or supervisory experience would be advantageous. ~ Ability to work creatively and flexibly to support children with additional needs. ~ Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with a remote therapy team and wider professionals.
