Job Title: Housing Tenancy Officer
Location: Hounslow, West London - Hybrid working (3 days office/visits, 2 days remote)
Hourly rate £21.91 PAYE / £29.15 Umbrella per hour
Contract Length: 6-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Housing & Tenancy Officer to join our team and act as the primary point of contact for residents across a patch of approximately 700-800 general needs properties. This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tenancy management services and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a designated patch of general needs tenants, providing responsive and proactive tenancy support.
- Oversee mutual exchanges and successions in line with current legislation.
- Carry out tenancy audits across 20-30% of your stock annually.
- Complete resettlement visits, 9-month tenancy checks, and other routine visits.
- Monitor and support compliance with gas safety requirements.
- Handle low-level antisocial behaviour (ASB) issues and support residents with more complex cases.
- Work closely with the legal team on the collaborative management of legal cases.
- Partner with key internal teams including Income, Tenancy Sustainment, and ASB, as well as wider services and stakeholders.
About You
- You are an experienced Housing Officer who can confidently manage a diverse workload and "hit the ground running."
- You have a strong understanding of housing legislation, tenancy procedures, and best practice.
- You are collaborative, resilient, and committed to delivering excellent resident-focused services.
- Although training will be provided on internal housing systems and council processes, a solid foundation in tenancy management is essential.
