Location: Commutable to Cardiff
Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator Aluminium Glazing Systems will involve:
Estimator position producing estimates for the design, manufacture and installation of aluminum curtain walling, windows, doors and facades
Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
Preparing handover documents for the contracts department, once a project has been secured
Attending pre and post tender meetings as and when required
Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100k to circa £10m
Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator Aluminium Glazing Systems experience with:
Must have 2+ years estimating experience within the UK construction industry
Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing & structural glazing
Ideally have experience with Logikal, Kawneer, Metal Technology, AluProf and Technal systems.
Strong ability to conduct take offs
Must be able to read and xwzovoh interpret technical drawings
Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
