Job Title: Design & Technology Teacher (Resistant Materials / Graphics) Location: Hillingdon, London, UK Salary: £37,870 – £56,154 per annum Job Type: Full Time | Temporary | Long Term (0.6 / 0.8 considered) Start Date: 01 June 2026 Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3. About the Role We are seeking a resilient and committed Design & Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials and/or Graphics to join a secondary school in Hillingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a setting that supports students who may present with challenging behaviour, where strong relationships, consistency, and adaptability are key to success. You will deliver engaging DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop practical skills and confidence in a structured environment. The role offers flexibility, with part-time options (0.6 or 0.8) available, or the opportunity to work full-time by contributing to additional subject areas such as Art, PSHE, Maths, or Science. You will play an important role in supporting students with a range of behavioural and learning needs, ensuring lessons are accessible, engaging, and supportive.
