About the role
Create inspiring events that bring communities together
A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.
Our client provides compassionate care and support to thousands of patients and families across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre each year. Their work is made possible by the incredible support of their community, and their events play a vital role in bringing people together, raising funds and building lasting connections.
They are now looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraiser to join their Fundraising and Communications Team for a two-year contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a diverse and engaging programme of events at a pivotal time for the charity, as they build towards their next large-scale art trail in 2028 following the success of events in Blackpool.
In this role, you will support the development, planning and delivery of a wide range of fundraising events across the Fylde coast. You will take ownership of key events within the portfolio, managing everything from initial planning and promotion through to on-the-day delivery and post-event evaluation. Your work will ensure that every event is safe, well organised and provides an exceptional experience for participants and supporters.
You will play an important role in engaging and supporting participants throughout their journey, helping them feel motivated, valued and connected to their organisation. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and communications, you will help deliver compelling campaigns that drive participation and maximise income. You will also use data and insight to monitor performance, evaluate success and identify opportunities to improve and grow the events programme.
They are looking for someone with experience delivering mass participation events, who is confident managing multiple projects and working to targets. You will be highly organised, creative and proactive, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, partners and supporters.
Joining their organisation means becoming part of a supportive, collaborative team where your work has real impact. They are committed to helping our people develop and thrive, offering opportunities for learning and a range of wellbeing and staff benefits.
This is more than an events role, it is an opportunity to create meaningful experiences that inspire communities and help fund compassionate care for those who need it most.
To apply please send your cv, along with a covering letter detailing your relevant skills and experience for this role. xwzovoh
