SEN Teaching Assistant Job | SEN TA | Dewsbury | £93–£120 per day | Full-Time

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Dewsbury, offering a competitive daily rate of £93–£120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within mainstream and specialist schools across Dewsbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 SEN support and small group interventions
  • Support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, and additional learning needs
  • Implement and follow EHCP strategies
  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupil development

Requirements:

  • Experience working within SEN / Special Educational Needs (desirable)
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
