I’m working on a brand new BI & Insight Analyst role with a business making some BIG investments into their data capability and, this one is properly business facing.

You’ll be working with teams across the business to understand their data questions, dig into what they actually need and turn that into reporting, dashboards and insights they can actually use.

You’ll know your way around SQL and be comfortable querying, joining, transforming and exploring data across different sources.

Power BI / BI reporting experience will be a big part of your toolkit too but, just as important is being able to sit with a stakeholder, understand the question behind the question and work out what the data is actually telling them. xwzovoh

You’ll probably enjoy this one if you like:

Getting stuck into messy data and figuring out what’s going on

Turning vague business questions into something useful

Building reports and supporting dashboards people actually use

Working with both technical and non-technical teams

Challenging a request when there’s a better way of doing things

Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Microsoft SQL, Synapse or Azure SQL would be a lovely bonus

Basically, we don’t just need someone who can pull the data. We need someone who can make sense of it.
