Location: Melton (near Hull) HU14 3HJ
Salary: £28,817 per annum
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm, with one 7am–3pm shift per week) Benefits: 30 days annual leave, pension, 24/7 access to our employee assistance programme plus online GP access for you and your family (partner and children up to age 21) and employee discount across Heron Foods and B&M.

We are now looking to appoint a Buying Administrator to support our Buying and Supply Chain teams at our Store Support Centre in Melton.

The Role
In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure accurate ordering, smooth supply into stores, and effective communication across the business. You will work closely with Buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to help maintain strong product availability and well-organised processes.

You will be responsible for:
Placing and managing supplier orders through to delivery.
Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries, shortages, and supply issues.
Producing daily communications for stores.
Managing promotional trackers, planograms, and product set-ups.
Reviewing competitor ranges and pricing and sharing insights with the team.
Supporting Buyers with product ranges, data analysis, and decision-making.
