Senior PCS7 Engineer Location

- Glasgow Are you an experienced control systems engineer ready to lead projects end-to-end? Do you enjoy working with Siemens PCS7 and broader PLC/SCADA systems? Looking for a role where you can guide a team and shape delivery in the energy sector? Leading software design, development and implementation for DCS and PLC/SCADA systems Managing and supporting a team through the full project lifecycle Producing design and test documentation Carrying out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Reviewing and checking technical work from other engineers Supporting and mentoring junior engineers Where you'll be doing it: You'll join a well-established engineering business working on complex projects across energy, renewables and industrial environments.
The team delivers high-integrity control systems in regulated sectors, with a strong focus on innovation and long-term development.
What you'll need: Strong experience with Siemens PCS7/Neo Experience with at least one other PLC platform (Siemens, Rockwell or Schneider) SCADA experience (e.g.
WinCC, Zenon, FactoryTalk or similar) Experience across the full project lifecycle Ability to produce technical specifications and test documentation Experience leading or mentoring engineers Knowledge of IEC61131 programming (ladder, FBD, SFC, structured text) Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel We appreciate your CV may not be up to date.
