Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading a high-quality, fresh food kitchen across both restaurant service and guest dining.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong kitchen leader who thrives in a quality-focused environment and is passionate about delivering consistently excellent seasonal dishes.
Key Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen Lead service across restaurant and rooms dining periods Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chefs absence Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal changes Manage stock control, ordering, and waste reduction Train, support, and develop junior kitchen team members About You Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up Background in fresh food, gastropub, or quality restaurant kitchens Michelin or Bib Gourmand experience desirable but not essential Strong leadership skills with the ability to run a smooth service Calm, organised, and confident under pressure Passionate about xwzovoh seasonal produce and high-quality execution Strong team player with a proactive, hands-on approach The Opportunity Our client is a highly regarded pub with rooms, known for its quality-led food offering and strong reputation within the local dining scene.
