Primary Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Hailsham (Flexible Full-Time / Part-Time) We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community in Hailsham. This is a flexible opportunity suitable for candidates looking for full-time or part-time work, with the chance to support students across all year groups. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom, provide 1:1 support for students who need additional guidance, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role may involve assisting pupils with varying learning needs, helping with classroom activities, and encouraging students to build confidence and independence. Key responsibilities: Supporting teaching and learning across different year groups Providing 1:1 support for students when required Assisting with classroom preparation and activities Encouraging student engagement and positive behaviour Working collaboratively with teachers and school staffWe are looking for someone who: Is patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about education Can adapt to working with different age groups Has strong communication and teamwork skills Is reliable, proactive, and committed to helping students succeedPrevious school experience is beneficial but not essential; training and support can be provided.
