Interim Financial Reporting Manager

Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-Backed Infrastructure Firm to secure an Interim Financial Reporting Manager based in Central London. The role is an initial 6-month contract, paying a day rate between £500-600 per day.

The finance function is central to this evolution, with a growing emphasis on improving reporting quality, strengthening controls, and delivering clearer financial insight to senior leadership and shareholders.

The Role

As Interim Financial Reporting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading the preparation and review of consolidated monthly financial reporting across multiple business units.
Producing management reporting packs covering trading performance, balance sheet movements, cashflow, debt and operational KPIs.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and longer-term planning cycles across the Group.
Delivering detailed financial analysis and commentary to support senior leadership decision-making.
Managing reconciliations, reporting schedules and reporting integrity across a complex multi-entity environment.
Partnering with operational and commercial finance teams to improve consistency and quality of financial information.
Supporting reporting process enhancements, finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Assisting with shareholder, board and executive-level reporting requirements where required.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:
A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
Strong experience across financial reporting, management accounting and group consolidations.
Previous exposure to large, multi-entity or international businesses.
Experience using consolidation or reporting platforms
Advanced Excel capability, with exposure to Power BI or other reporting tools viewed favourably.
The ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Previous interim / contract experience would be advantageous, though not essential.
