Deputy Manager

We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join a small, nurturing therapeutic children’s home supporting children aged 4–10 years. This role is ideal for someone who can act as a therapeutic parental figure, offering consistency, emotional safety, and positive role modelling within a trauma-informed environment. Key Responsibilities: * Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home * Provide direct care and therapeutic support to children * Lead, mentor, and support staff teams * Promote a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment * Contribute to care planning, safeguarding, and Ofsted compliance About You: * Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent) * Have at least 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care * Demonstrate a calm, nurturing, and emotionally available approach * Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs * A registered driver We Offer: * Competitive salary of £38,000 – £40,000 * Ongoing therapeutic and leadership development * A supportive, child-focused working environment If you are passionate about therapeutic, relationship-based care and want to make a meaningful difference in young children’s lives, we would love to hear from you
