A welcoming and community-focused infant school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join the team after May half term, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive school environment where early reading and child development are highly valued. The school is looking for a Year 1 Teacher who will:
Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils academic, social and emotional development
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform planning
Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Contribute positively to the wider school community
This Year 1 Teacher role is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop within a supportive setting.
