TheRole:RegisteredManager WerelookingforanexperiencedanddrivenRegisteredManagertoleadourchildrenshomeinYeovil,supportingyoungpeopleaged9-17.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbringstrongleadership,strategicinsight,andapassionfordeliveringoutstandingcare.Theywilloverseeallaspectsofthehome,ensuringhighstandardsofemotionalandphysicalsupport,safeguarding,andpreparationforindependence,inlinewiththehome'sStatementofPurposeandOfstedregulations.WeseeksomeonewithaproventrackrecordofachievingGOODorOUTSTANDINGOfstedratings,whodemonstratesproactivesafeguarding,effectiveplacementplanning,andavalues-led,aspirationalapproachtocare.

RoleRequirements: AnNVQLevel5inleadershipandmanagementorequivalent.

Atleast3yearsexperienceworkingasamanagerwithinaResidentialChildcaresetting.

KnowledgeoftheChildrensHomeRegulationsandOfstedRequirements.

Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationskills.

Computerliteracyandaneyefordetail.

Adrivinglicenceandhaveaccesstoacartocompleteyourduties.

Youwillbeworkingaminimumof39hourswithsomeflexibilitytoensuretheneedsofthehomearemet.

Therolewillincludemainlyofficebaseddays,butalsomayincludeshiftsinthehome,weekendworkingandsleepinshifts.

YouwillalsobeexpectedtobepartofarollingrotapatternwithotherRegisteredManagersandDeputyManagerstosupportwithManageroncalls.
