Construction Operative

Role Overview We are seeking reliable and safety-focused General Construction Operatives to support site operations on a live construction project. The role is site-based and involves providing essential support across logistics, traffic management, materials handling and waste control , ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are comfortable working in a dynamic construction environment and supporting multiple site functions.
- Initial 6+ months contract
Key Responsibilities Support site logistics operations , including movement of materials, equipment and personnel
Assist with traffic management , ensuring safe vehicle and pedestrian movement around site
Act as a parking warden , controlling and monitoring site parking in accordance with site rules
Supervise and coordinate material deliveries , ensuring correct access, unloading and storage locations
Provide waste control support , including segregation, monitoring skips and maintaining housekeeping standards
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment at all times
Follow site health, safety and environmental procedures , reporting hazards or unsafe conditions xwzovoh
Support site management, supervisors and logistics teams as required
Experience & Skills Previous experience working on a construction or infrastructure site (preferred but not essential)
Good awareness of site safety practices and willingness to follow instructions
Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with site personnel
Flexible and proactive approach to site duties
