Title: Payroll Officer Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time (Monday Friday) Salary: £30,000

- £38,000 (depending on experience) Details: Our client is looking to appoint a Payroll Officer to join their busy and expanding team based in Inverness.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing and payment of large scale internal payroll in accordance with all Statutory and Company Accounting Requirements.
Duties include: Responsible for providing support and guidance to Managers and staff on all Payroll and Payroll related matters.
Input all necessary Payroll Data including Bank Details, Tax Codes, NI Letters, Court Orders, Student Loans etc.
Calculation and processing of Statutory payments.
Review Payroll to identify and correct errors and ensure the accuracy.
Run and check payroll and produce payslips and reports.
Fully understand and implement Regulations affecting Payroll procedures.
Assist with the Year End.
Deal with queries and payroll correspondence.
Work closely with employees to ensure accurate payroll information is submitted in order to meet deadlines for processing.
Auto-enrolment pension administration.
Liaising with HMRC to resolve payroll queries.
Person Specification: Previous payroll experience.
Accounts/payroll qualification preferred (HND for example).
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail in working towards deadlines.
Strong administrative skills. xwzovoh
Ability to communicate effectively within a team.
