The Role As a Retail Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering a high-quality showroom experience. You’ll engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through product selections to support their projects—whether for home renovations or trade purchases. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional showroom experience Understand customer needs and offer tailored product recommendations Inspire customers with ideas for tiling projects and interior design Process sales accurately and efficiently, including handling payments Maintain strong product knowledge, including new and evolving ranges Merchandise and display products to maximise sales opportunities Assist with stock deliveries, storage, and inventory management Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing showroom Support customers with loading purchases where required Follow company procedures relating to sales, security, and health & safetyAbout You Proven sales and customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities A natural ability to build rapport and understand customer needs Interest or flair in interior design, colour, and styling Confident in suggesting ideas and presenting solutions Numerate, with the ability to calculate areas and measurements IT literate and comfortable with sales systems A team player who can also work independently Reliable, proactive, and well-organised Willing to work weekends on a rota basis (5 days out of 7) Physically able to lift and move tile boxesWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary Contributory pension scheme Death in service benefit Staff discounts Healthcare cash plan (including retail, travel, and gym discounts) Structured training and genuine opportunities for career progression
