Tyre Performance Engineers - Entry to Group Lead

Across multiple top-tier F1 teams, we’re hiring for Tyre Science Engineers roles at different seniorities - from early-career engineers to seasoned specialists. Whether your expertise lies in simulation, modelling, or trackside support, there are opportunities to make a real impact.

You’ll work directly with elite motorsport teams, helping to extract every ounce of performance from the tyres through cutting-edge tools, data, and race-day insight. Your input will drive real performance gains, both behind the scenes and on the track.

What will your day look like?

As a Tyre Science Engineer, you’ll be focused on extracting every drop of performance from tyres through advanced modelling, simulation, and real-world application.

On an average day you can expect to be…

• Validating and monitoring tyre sensors and systems
• Analysing tyre behaviour during race weekends from factory-based support
• Refining correlation between vehicle sims and real-world data
• Running pre- and post-event reviews and simulations
• Improving and developing new tyre performance tools and methodologies
• Supporting tyre model correlation in simulator and DIL sessions
• Contributing to thermo-mechanical model testing and parameter tuning

This role will suit you if you…

• Have a degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Bring strong knowledge of mechanics, vehicle dynamics, and numerical modelling
• Know your way around MATLAB, Python, or Plotly
• Have experience working with onboard sensors and trackside instrumentation
• Perform well under pressure in high-stakes environments
• Are curious, collaborative, and confident working across multidisciplinary teams
