Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator – 2 Month Contract

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our dynamic HR and Recruitment team. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless, customer-focused recruitment and onboarding service. You will ensure all pre-employment checks are conducted accurately, adhering to legislation and best practices. As a key contact for candidates, managers, and stakeholders, you will support all stages of the recruitment and onboarding process, enhancing the candidate experience.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding Administration
- Deliver high-quality recruitment and onboarding administrative services.
- Support recruitment campaigns and onboarding activities across various service areas.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of recruitment administration.
- Assist managers and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
Right to Work & Immigration Compliance
- Conduct compliant Right to Work checks and process Share Code verifications.
- Audit employee files to ensure complete and accurate Right to Work records.
- Maintain documentation on HR systems and resolve documentation gaps.
- Apply knowledge of UK immigration and Right to Work legislation.
- Update the Sponsor Management System (SMS) accurately.
Pre-Employment Checks
- Coordinate and monitor Right to Work, DBS checks, Occupational Health clearances, references, and sponsorship requirements.
- Ensure all checks are completed before employment commences.
- Track progress and follow up on outstanding checks.
HR Administration
- Produce recruitment and onboarding documentation.
- Generate HR correspondence such as variation and probationary letters.
- Maintain accurate HR and recruitment records.
Candidate & Manager Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for recruitment and onboarding inquiries.
- Manage recruitment and Right to Work mailboxes.
- Provide professional and efficient responses to candidate and manager queries.
Systems & Data Management
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate candidate and employee records.
- Produce reports and management information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
Continuous Improvement
- Support service improvement initiatives and process standardization.
- Contribute to recruitment and onboarding projects.
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Team Support
- Collaborate with Recruitment & Onboarding, HR Business Partners, People & Culture, Employee Relations, Payroll & Pensions, Occupational Health, Hiring Managers, Schools, and External Stakeholders.
- Provide cover for colleagues and support wider HR and recruitment activities as needed.
