Alkegen - Shipping Co-ordinator - Widnes

Fancy £16.66 PH As an experienced administrator you will have experience using Sap, PowerPoint, excel and word. We are a busy manufacturing business in Widnes on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage time-sensitive tasks. Our team is small and intimate and staff thrive in a friendly and holistic way This role is covering a key member of the team, so we're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible to allow for a handover and training period before working independently from 3rd September for approximately 3 weeks. What your day consists of: You'll be working within the planning and logistics team, supporting the movement of products used in the automotive and aviation industries. This is an office-based role with no customer contact, working closely with internal warehouse and operational teams. Daily duties will include: Producing daily stock reports and creating warehouse pick sheets Coordinating outbound shipments with the warehouse team Preparing shipping documentation and quality certificates Supporting daily and weekly production plans Monitoring stock levels and usage rates Assisting with inbound deliveries and stock transfers Supporting movements between manufacturing sites and external warehouses Liaising with internal customer service and operational teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently General administration linked to logistics and supply chain activities What we're looking for We're keen to speak with candidates who have: Previous administration, logistics or supply chain experience Good SAP knowledge Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload A proactive approach to problem solving Import/export knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential Hours Flexible working hours to suit the successful candidate: 8:00am - 4:00pm, or 9:00am - 5:00pm What's on offer?
