Handyman

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Hotel Handyman / Porter to assist with guest luggage handling, transportation of hotel equipment, and general operational support. The ideal candidate will provide courteous service to guests while ensuring the safe movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the hotel. Key Responsibilities * Assist guests with carrying luggage during check-in, check-out, and room transfers. * Transport hotel equipment, furniture, supplies, and other materials as required. * Support room setup for meetings, conferences, and special events. * Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. * Perform basic maintenance and minor repair tasks as assigned. * Respond promptly to guest requests and departmental needs. * Follow hotel safety, security, and operational procedures. * Work closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Events teams. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in a hotel, hospitality, porter, bell attendant, or general maintenance role is an advantage. * Basic English communication skills. Required Skills * Good customer service and communication skills. * Reliable, punctual, and professional. * Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. * Basic maintenance knowledge is an advantage. Physical Requirements * Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy luggage, furniture, and hotel equipment safely. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods. * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
