Children’s Social Worker – Looked After Children Location: Southend (Hybrid Working) Salary: £39,152 – £45,091 per annum Contract: Permanent  Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority in Southend for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join their Looked After Children team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive service focused on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of looked after children in line with statutory requirements Undertake assessments, care planning and reviews Work collaboratively with families, carers and multi-agency professionals Promote stability and permanence for children in care Ensure safeguarding standards are maintained at all timesRequirements: Qualified Social Worker (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent) Registered with Social Work England Experience working within a Looked After Children team Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks Ability to manage a varied caseloadBenefits: Hybrid working – minimum of 2 days onsite Competitive salary Supportive working environment Opportunities for professional developmentPlease note: At present, the client can offer sponsorship.
