Procurement Manager Tadcaster Competitive Salary (Dependant on Experience) The Opportunity Our client is a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and develop their procurement function. This is a strategic role where you will be responsible for driving sourcing activities, strengthening supplier relationships, managing commercial negotiations and ensuring the efficient supply of materials and services to support business objectives. Working closely with operations, engineering, projects and finance teams, you'll play a key role in delivering cost savings, improving supplier performance, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with business objectives. * Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors. * Lead commercial negotiations to achieve best value, quality, and delivery performance. * Identify and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives. * Monitor supplier performance and manage risk across the supply chain. * Support inventory optimisation and material availability. * Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, production, and project teams. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and governance requirements. * Lead, coach and develop procurement team About You * Proven procurement leadership experience within engineering, manufacturing or technical industries. * Strong supplier management and negotiation skills. * Experience managing complex supply chains and sourcing strategies. * Commercially astute with a track record of delivering cost savings and operational improvements. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Comfortable working within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
