As a Multiskilled Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving machinery to keep production running smoothly. Based in Berwickshire, this is a hands-on role where you'll be solving problems and ensuring the plant operates efficiently in the industrial and manufacturing sector. Client Details This role is with a company operating in the industrial and manufacturing sector in Berwickshire. Description Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure smooth operations. Adhere to health and safety standards at all times. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant. Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Respond promptly to breakdowns and prioritise tasks effectively.Profile A successful Multiskilled Engineer should have: Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
