About the role

The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. Hourly rate of pay: £15.16 - £16.30 This is a 52 week non-sessional post i.e. it will include working during the school holidays. Monday - Thursday, 09:00-17:00 To start asap. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our team at St Mary's Nursery. St Mary’s RC Primary School is a vibrant, nurturing and inclusive school community. We are a Roman Catholic School, serving the needs of Roman Catholic and non-denominational pupils in Haddington, with 5 mainstream classes and a nursery. Our School role is currently 111 and our nursery role approx. St Marys RC Primary School shares a joint campus with Haddington Primary School, we have our own music room however share our gym hall and dinner hall. Working within the Council, we provide our staff with opportunities to develop their skills in-house. To work in support of early years 'staff by contributing towards the creation of a warm, friendly, safe and caring environment for children aged 2 –5 years. Must hold an SVQ in Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 6 (or an alternative SSSC recognised equivalent qualification). Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to work towards gaining it. This post is considered as a Regulated Role with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.
