The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a nationally recognised household name within the logistics sector. This is a field‑based Business Development Executive role, focused on developing new B2B relationships with local businesses rather than selling to the public.
This is a professional, consultative sales role, with meetings held in offices, depots, and business premises — not on residential doorsteps.
To clarify from the outset: this role is not door‑to‑door sales.
You will be working exclusively with business customers within a defined Leeds territory, supported by the credibility and reputation of a well‑established national brand.
What the Role Involves
As a Field Business Development Executive, you will:
Identify and develop new B2B opportunities across Leeds and surrounding areas
Meet prospective clients face‑to‑face to understand their logistics requirements
Build long‑term partnerships rather than focusing on short‑term wins
Manage and develop your own pipeline of business opportunities
Organise your own diary and work autonomously in the field
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys relationship‑building, autonomy, and variety in their working week.
Who Our Client Is Looking For
Previous sales experience is not essential. Our client places more value on potential, attitude, and transferable skills than a traditional sales background.

Essential requirements:
A full UK driving licence
Access to your own car, as face‑to‑face client visits are a core part of the role

A genuine desire to learn and develop within a structured sales environment
