- 16:30 (Hours may change; overtime may be required) Role Overview We are recruiting 8 Fuels Technicians to support day-to-day fuels operations at a secure operational site.
This role supports the Fuels Supervisor and plays a key part in ensuring safe, compliant, and effective management of ground fuels, aviation fuels, and cryogenic systems in line with operational requirements.
The position supports both routine operations and mission readiness, working closely with multiple stakeholders to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities Operational Duties Support fuels operations across ground fuels, aviation fuels, and cryogenic systems Receive, store, and issue fuel via pipelines and tanker deliveries Operate fuel dispensing systems and storage facilities Conduct laboratory testing of fuel samples Monitor, calculate, and forecast fuel requirements to maintain stock levels Follow operational procedures, system designs, and reporting structures Compliance & Safety Adhere to UK Health & Safety at Work Act (1974) and USAF safety standards Ensure compliance with applicable instructions, technical orders, and environmental regulations Support mandatory compliance programmes including hazardous materials, lockout/tag-out, records management, and related safety systems Liaise with Health, Safety, and Quality teams as required Essential Requirements Full, clean UK driving licence IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in fast-paced or noisy environments Strong numerical skills and logical problem-solving ability Able to complete 3 years' referencing SC Security Clearance required (sponsorship facilitated; applicants must meet eligibility criteria) Desirable ADR/CPC Class 2 licence Familiarity with U.S.
