This is an exciting opportunity to join a well‑established manufacturer in Dinas Powys as their Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace.


The Role

As Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, you’ll lead the site’s EHS strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation while embedding a strong safety culture across the business. You will act as a trusted partner to leadership and operational teams, driving continuous improvement and best practice throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and programs in line with regulatory and company standards
  • Carry out regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits, identifying hazards and implementing effective control measures
  • Lead and deliver engaging EHS training, promoting awareness and accountability at all levels
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analysis and driving corrective and preventative actions
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on EHS performance, providing clear insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Keep up to date with changing legislation, industry developments, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and excellence

About You

  • Proven experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety management role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK EHS legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence, engage, and build relationships across the business
  • Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
