MASH Social Worker

Pertemps Social Care is recruiting on behalf of Middlesbrough Borough Council for a social worker within their MACH Team.

You will be part of a multi-agency Children’s hub (front door team); working with partners including Police, Health, Education, and other vital partner agencies to keep children safe.

You will be expected to screen referrals, analyse and share information to safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting screening assessments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with children, families, and other professionals
• Ability to maintain accurate records, report writing, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• A degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Experience in a related field or prior experience with children and families in challenging circumstances is beneficial
