Lift Engineer

Lift Engineer Location: South Wales Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established engineering team covering South Wales. This role is suited to an engineer with strong service, maintenance, and fault-finding experience across a range of lift systems. The position offers a mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support across commercial and residential sites. Role Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on lift systems * Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding and repairs * Ensure lifts are operating safely, reliably, and in line with regulations * Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records * Liaise professionally with site contacts and customers * Support compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements * Work independently across assigned sites within South Wales Requirements * Proven experience as a Lift Engineer (service, maintenance, or breakdown) * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Experience working with a range of lift types and manufacturers * Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards * Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively * Full UK driving licence Benefits * Competitive salary (dependent on experience) * Company vehicle provided * Overtime opportunities available * Ongoing training and development * Stable regional patch (South Wales) with minimal long-distance travel * Long-term career progression opportunities
