HGV Class 2 Driver – Birmingham (Aston, West Midlands) People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Birmingham (Aston), West Midlands , on a full-time basis.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver , LGV Class 2 Driver , Category C Driver , or Multi-Drop Driver .

Shifts Monday to Friday Start times between 03:00 – 06:00 Early finishes depending on route completion Rates of Pay £16.00 – £17.20 per hour Benefits Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Driver will include: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing, full-time work Weekly pay Immediate starts available On-site canteen facilities Employee wellbeing programme Training and development opportunities Opportunity to become permanent Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include (but not be limited to): Carrying out multi-drop store deliveries across the region Loading and unloading goods, including handballing where required Operating a Category C vehicle safely and efficiently Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts Ensuring all loads are secured correctly prior to transit Using tail lifts and electric/manual pump trucks Completing delivery paperwork accurately Communicating professionally with the transport team and customers Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations Typically completing 7–8 deliveries or collections per shift Essential Skills To be successful as a HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need: A valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence A minimum of 24 months' Class 2 driving experience A valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) A good level of spoken and written English Strong timekeeping and reliability A good understanding of road safety and driving regulations Excellent communication skills Desirable (but Not Essential) Previous multi-drop delivery experience Experience using tail lifts and pump trucks Background within retail or store delivery environments Training Provided Full paid induction and ongoing support provided Site-specific training on processes and procedures Apply If you are ready to take the next step in your driving career as a HGV Class 2 Driver , apply today or contact our recruitment team for more information. xwzovoh
