SEN Teaching Assistant – Nurture Provision Sittingbourne Start: June 2026 | Until Easter 2027 Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm Full-time | Term Time Only We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sittingbourne, supporting a small group of children within a specialist nurture provision. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in a structured, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Support a small group of pupils with special educational needs (SEN) Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team Deliver activities using pre-prepared planning Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development Requirements: Proven experience working with children with SEN Strong behaviour management and communication skills Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the role Must work term time only (no holidays during term time) Minimal pre-booked appointments to ensure consistency for pupils What We Offer: Supportive and welcoming school environment Clear structure with planning provided Opportunity to make a meaningful difference over a longer-term placement If you are committed, compassionate, and experienced in supporting SEN pupils, we would love to hear from you.
