Technology Delivery Lead (Agile / Scrum Focus)
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + 10% bonus

This role is best suited to someone who operates at the intersection of Delivery Lead and Scrum Master - someone who thrives in Agile environments and excels at team coordination and delivery rhythm rather than commercial oversight.
This is an opportunity to join a high-performing technology hub delivering complex software solutions across large-scale programmes, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, continuous improvement, and Agile best practices.
This is ahands-on Agile delivery role, focused on enabling teams to perform at their best. You’ll take ownership of delivery processes across complex software projects, ensuring teams are aligned, ceremonies are effective, and delivery flows smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth, predictable delivery
- Manage delivery across complex software projects with multiple stakeholders
- Track and report on delivery metrics, driving continuous improvement
- Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly updates
- Identify delivery risks and proactively remove blockers
- Champion Agile best practices and foster a high-performing team culture
- Support delivery planning across short, medium, and long-term objectives
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead within software projects
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and practices
- Proven ability to run ceremonies and coordinate delivery across teams
- Comfortable working in complex stakeholder xwzovoh environments
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A delivery-first mindset with a focus on team enablement and outcomes
Desirable
- Agile certifications (e.g. Scrum Master)
- Experience working in public sector or health environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern delivery models
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
